His son, Gib Kuhn, joined the family business after returning home from World War II and they added a second store in Hays, Kansas. A third generation was added when Gib's daughter and son-in-law, Sari and Randy Reynolds, followed in the family footsteps in 1977. Randy has over 36 years of experience in the setting of diamonds and gemstones; he excels at repairing all types of jewelry. He is a Gemological Institute of America Diamond graduate and is also a certified Laserstar welder.
